Kirk Jensen is an associate at Buckley Kolar LLP. Mr. Jensen’s practice focuses on representing the financial services industry in an array of litigation and regulatory matters. In particular, Mr. Jensen represents clients in litigation and in regulatory and compliance matters arising under federal and state laws relating to consumer and commercial financial services, including laws governing mortgage lending and secondary market transactions, unsecured and secured credit, state licensing, credit card lending, consumer privacy and data security, debt collection, electronic financial transactions, negotiable instruments, anti-money laundering, financial institution regulation, credit reporting and credit discrimination. Mr. Jensen is also a nationally recognized expert in consumer arbitration issues.
Mr. Jensen has represented a wide variety of financial services clients, including mortgage companies, national banks, federal savings banks, bank holding companies, finance companies, credit card issuers, credit unions, pay-day lenders, debt collection companies and securities broker-dealers.
Mr. Jensen is a member of the District of Columbia Bar, the North Carolina State Bar, and the Utah State Bar (voluntarily inactive), as well as various committees of the Business Law and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections of the American Bar Association.

Before joining Buckley Kolar, Mr. Jensen was an associate with Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC in Charlotte, North Carolina. Prior to that, he was an associate in the Washington office of Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering. Before joining Wilmer Cutler, Mr. Jensen served as a law clerk to the Honorable Deanell Reece Tacha, Chief Circuit Judge, United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
